About 'Lulu's'

 Hi all!

Thanks so much for being here.

Id like to introduce myself & let you know a little about me and 'Lulu's'. 

So for those of you who don’t know....

My name is Lucy, I live in south Somerset with the little people I created and my husband.

Roughly 9 years ago I decided to buy myself a sewing machine, watch a few YouTube videos, do lots of research and as a result taught myself to sew.

At first I just made clothes for my children, then (in between having babies) I started making stuff for other people too! After a year I launched my first buisness 'Lulu & Beau's'

Sadly after 8 years of having Lulu & Beau's I had to close; at the end of 2023 we had quite a bad flood (Somerset likes to do that 🫣) that destroyed my workshop. After a lot of careful consideration I decided I couldn't face the mammoth task of trying to rebuild everything I had lost and felt the decision to close would be for the best. 

As heartbreaking as it was to say goodbye to my first buisness, all my lovely reps and clients I tried to welcome the other opportunities this would bring.

But, as all other creatives will know! It's impossible to not do something to pacify   your creative urges! Sooo back to YouTube and research I went and taught myself to crochet.

With a love for making beautiful things a weakness for a beautiful handbags 'Lulu's' was born!

Our bags are made from recycled T Shirt yarn which I adore working with! It makes great sturdy bags, which look and feel great.
